Florida Drift Series Qualifier pics and video
16 drivers were awarded licenses this round to compete in the 2009 Florida Drift Series put on by Ter-Tech. Many of them former NOPI drivers and a few new comers. There was quite a few drivers on the cusp that just needed a little bit more and they would have made it. 50 drivers were registered. it started out as a shitty cold and wet day and ended up raining around lunch time. After the storm blew thru it turned to blue skies and warm weather. Next qualifier will be in Orlando at Orlando Speed World and possibly another i believe at the newly rebuilt Palm Beach International Raceway(formerly Moroso) A Projected 4-6 events will happen in the 2009 season.
