Default practice spots?

where are some good places to practice? I'm new and just interested in trying it a little just to see what its like. so I dont want to go out and spend money on a track day or anything. but where do you guys normally go to get in some sideways time? I've been driving around north lakeland looking for a good road without any houses or anything, but with some decent curves but cant really find any. and I've thought about going out to the warehouses/industrial park but I'm worried about getting caught there. any reccomendations?

I dont this going anywhere, Better off going out and looking yourself.

Most spots in Tampa are off limits, Pinellas you can just forget about.

All I can say is try to find secluded areas to do whatever you gotta do.. There should be spots up north.

I'm looking in the lakeland/polk/pasco area. I just want to get ideas from guys that have been doing this awhile. I want to know how everyone started out. maybe not specific spots, but types of places to look for.

lol its like saying "o so werre gonna jump john doe tomorrow at the pizza hut on dale mabry and intend to kill him", no one is gonna do it. But there is this place right by citrus park mall. From erlich going west take a left at the ballyhoos and keep going past the fire station untill you get to the police station, there is a light there and a nice little right angle turn that goes into a little S curve. The cops are never there though. i practice it all night. Some of the ones working there watch me and record it to show their wife n kids after their shift is over. Its awesome. u should try it. and if the cops do happen to "try and stop you" thats not what there really trying to do. their lights mean they wanna race and they are giving you a head start.

well i live in zephyrhills and there are plenty of places. all they did was build an ass load of houseing devlopments with turns that are pretty good. well they never put any houses in them or poles. so if you spin out you just slide in to some grass or dirt.
there is like four of these around town its fun when im bored with friends and have a running car lol
