can anyone give real instructions on how you drift your own personal car?

go to a track day at osw or desoto and feel it out for yourself.i think thats the best way to learn.

 

I have to agree with Hostetler, hands on is the way to learn. However if you wanna have a general understanding of what to expect.... check out these recommendations:

yea...the best way to learn is to DO IT

 

Definately go to a trackday....you might try some donuts and figure eights to start.Also i would make sure your car is in good working order before you do anything...and i would not drift anything on stock suspension i can almost guarantee you will be meeting a curb!
oh and welded diffs ftw

 

Yeah, you need to take it to the track as well buddy... I have yet to see you drift still...

 

I drift on stock suspension in the vette =P

 

Go fast, swing hard, countersteer. Foot to the floor or go home.
