I have to agree with Hostetler, hands on is the way to learn. However if you wanna have a general understanding of what to expect.... check out these recommendations:

Definately go to a trackday....you might try some donuts and figure eights to start.Also i would make sure your car is in good working order before you do anything...and i would not drift anything on stock suspension i can almost guarantee you will be meeting a curb!
