I don't know how many of you guys have heard but they are trying real hard to get sunshine opened back up. This could be a good thing for the drift community all around, seeing the track is only like right next door for so many people if you want to see the progress on it go to bringthetrackback.com . They are talking like next year or so.

to my knowledge the oval had already been torn down, hmmm.

i drive by that track everyday. its like 5 min from me.

 

The stands are out and the lights are gone, but with some work it can be back again.

don't try to remember, that track has been asphalt since it was made . It might not make it but nothing ever happens when no one tries. I am just letting everyone know so maybe we can try to help out the more people that speek up and help out the better the chances!

The property is now owned by the Florida Department of Transportation. If its possable to get the sunshine track back open and open for drifting I would buy some t-shirts! I most likly would be out there every week to drift and donate some of my time to help make it happen! I also live 5 minutes from the track.
