All NOPI events cancelled!?

It says NOPI Drag at the top, but it specifically mentions the drift series in the text.

Don't know if you guys had been following the NOPI Drift series, but it looks like it's all over.

HOLY SHIT ! Michael Myers is the President? Haven't they killed him YET?

There was another article I read siting the economy as the reason for the cancellations. Maybe they'll be back in '09.
