86'sare so rediculously over rated.... roughtly the same weight as my celica, all the suspension stuff is interchangable, rearends are the same. except instead of a weaksauce 100 ftlbs 4ag, u get a nice torqey r series motor.

-14x7 konig rewinds
-205/60r14 falken ziex rubber all around

INTERIOR-
-cobra full bucket seat
-autometer water temp gauge in factory location
-autometer oil pressure gauge in factory location

wooow! do you mind me asking how much u paid when u bought it, im looking at one locally, it has a little rust and needs a tune up and tires but its so sick. they want like 1300 for it i was gonna go there with 900 cash

first gen pricing varies so much, it might be hard to believer but i think i only paid 1600 for that car... my recomendation is to check out classic celica.com and dont be afraid to buy a car out of state... the main thing to look for

GOOD SEALS!!!! these seals are ALL discontinued, theres a couple places that have a few laying around but theres no aftermarket ones available...

bushings you can get... bodypanels can be found, interior can be re upholstered, but seals are next to impossible...

Great choice on that Celica drift project car. Even Smokey Nagata of Top Secret has one of those in his garage. Although his is the 75 Celica with 18RGs.

sigh... me too... theres a mint ra29 on classic celica i want but i dont have the 4500 to shell out on the 70k orig mile car
