Default What are the pros and cons...?

I'm seeing this being done to cars that are being built up for track purpose, tubbed fender wells. What ar the pros and cons of doing this to your car?

I interested because I was thinking of doing this. I plan to run 9in wide rims in the front and I dont want any rubbing, so should I tubbed the fender wells or will I be fine without doing this?

for those who run setups that allow crazy steering angle with the wheel locked all the way to one side, its so tires dont rub. with crazy setups, you could get a 225 tire to rub up front at full lock. is it worth it? maybe if you're going to have a track car to drift only and are going to have 1 million degrees of steering angle. to me, not worth it. looks clean with real paint job and stuff though.

instead of hammering the insides of the fender wells out to make room, its a cleaner appearance to just cut/weld some new tubs in.

we can run crazy angle, this gives us more flexibility with tire choice/settings. it also looks cool to some people.
