I disagree. Maybe if you're going slower it feels more responsive, but I prefer less slip angle, not more. Not to mention the owner (I'm guessing) will be using 9" wide wheels (215/45/17 is a pretty drastic stretch IMO). To each their own. I thought this was a fitment issue...

i agree, the 215 does give better turn in, but on a 9 inch wide wheel the smallest i would go would be 225/40 or 45.

I only know 1 tire available in 225/40...it's a weird size I guess. FWIW, I run 215/45/17 up front but my wheels are only 8" wide.

yeah the only tire i know that is 225 40 is the nitto 555 soething...

215 in my opinion, matt chin is trying to go for style here... i always nag on him ... 215 is pba stretch... also fitment issues. 225 kinda fucks shit up with the wheels he has up front... 215 + for performance and style... trust me i have seen 225 45 on a 9.5 wide rim it's sexy
