shut up i know.................
ok, i know i'm never going to hear the end of this.. but i would like to know of someone who does good body work and paint???? i finally got a decent set of 17 inch wheels and i don't like the way my car has gotten overly dented from me kicking it constantly. so i need some dents removed and a new coat of paint. the hood will not be painted though it will remain intact!! or be replaced by carbon fiber.

ya then when you ding your hand again and u go around and kick every body panel and put a dent in it the cant open the door cause u bent it so bad and then have to use a crow bar to pop it back out. ya that will be a huge waste of money. (sry complete huge run on sentence). bill we all know its a watse of money u just gunna ding it back up again. id say maco there cheap and you wont spend an arm and a leg getting it done.
bottom line good body work/paint and the word CHEAP is NOT in the same category.
generic bodywork and "scuff and shoot" - might as well and go to Econo Bake or some shit joint like that.
i have several friends that are in the body work industry. I myself, used to manage a bodyshop. for "decent" bodywork with minimal "bondo" and a decent 2 stage paintjob, be prepared to drop at least 1500 bux MINIMUM and that would be a steal.
I cant wait to finish my s13 with everything done out of metal for the widebody and p/u truck conversion, it will be the straightest bodywork for sure. That's why it's taking months to do it right and when it's all done, the Value of the paint and bodywork will exceed 10K. But that's me, I alwasy try to do everything right the 1st time that way everytime i walk by it, I dont regret it.
Jim's Body shop in seminole, wrexx n effects(or whatever their name is now), XS customs(or whatever) - all of these places SUCK when it comes to quality. But if all you want it for the car to " appear " straight and match, then go to one of these places or Econo BAKE style places. But, remember, watered down generic paint materials and a skimpy clear coat with orange peel or warpy doors and panels is what awaits you, and still it would be over a G.
my 2 cents since I'me been in the industry and know many people currently in it.

Samuals Auto body in Orlando gets my thumbs-up...just look at my car. Not sure about cost though.

Nice paint jobs are fricken great if you like to stand there and look at it, but if you go out there and slide within a couple of inches of walls it will all seem like a waste if you tap the wall, and are less likey to push yourself to the limit in order to "save the paint" IMO I raither just prep correctly myself and have someone shoot a cheap paint job if its not a show car so what. atleast we go out there and use them.
