S2000
Just wondering if there are any S2000s out there that enjoy getting a little slideways?
Even after owning a 240sx for four years, I never really got into drifting (especially coming from an STi), but the S2000 makes it so easy it's hard to resist!
I'll have to come out to an event sometime and practice a little. All I've done is a few cones in a parking lot, don't have near enough confidence to drift near curbs or anything else.
S's are known to have weak differentals, so I won't be doing anything too extreme until I can get a Comptech reinforced housing.
I find it really funny how much the car you have and group you hang out with influences your views and opinions. When I had my STi a short while ago, I thought drifting was lame and for kids. But now, I have a completely different view on the 'sport'...

i dont know anybody locally who drifts their s2000.
i know it can be quite troublesome, but i think there is a mod you can do to the steering rack, like replace it with some kind of rx7 rack to make it turn quicker.
i heard this makes drifting it a lot more standable

I've heard of the steering rack swap elsewhere, but I don't remember exactly what it is. I am going with a smaller, flat-bottomed steering wheel (12") which will aide a little bit. Honestly the steering rack is fine, just the steering wheels hits the top of my legs and makes it hard to quickly turn it.
