Default 205/65 tire too small for stang drifting?

ok...so so i don't have to spend money on wheels...i was wondering if i'd have too much sidewall flex running a 15x7 on the front w/ a 65 profile.

there's an event in ocala coming up and i'll be needing to know whether or not it'd be safe to run them.

65 will have alot of flex. and probably fold over.
if you dont have money, find a different hobby. is my best suggestion.

I run a 185-65-15 and 195-60-15 on 15x7 and have no problem. 205-65 will be a bit tall, but if it's just the fronts you ought to be ok.

205/65's are boats.

Response is shit.

Same with 60's.

I would go atleast 55 or 50.

how much power does the car put out? (you may end up with very little traction with 205's) and are you running same size tires all around? it also depends a lot on the speed you're going to carry b/c of the weight transfer. but i would have a backup set with me. you can bet on it handling kinda crappy with the sidewall flex. but ive been running 205/60s with 195/65s and not really had a problem.... just keep them inflated and try not to push it right away. should be fine
