I seemed to have stumbled across the post production Initial D Live action movie. It isnt translated but its in real good quality. I'll tell you what, it looks fantastic. The driving is amazing and if you liked the scenes and cinematography of the cartoon, well, its identical in the live action version. However, they changed the plot (from what i get out of listening to chinese) and took elements from the first 3 seasons of iD and composed them into one movie and then drasticly changed other parts. Its cool though, remember watching someone crash in the cartoon and they would bump the wall and stop?? Well, not here. Ever wonder what an Evo4 looks like falling off a cliff? You find out!

I downloaded it off of Shareaza. Ive got it now so its downloadable. And if you speak Cantonese, more the better! (its not like the plot is really that hard to figure out. . . )

Oh, the fucking music sucks. I thought the cartoon's music was bad. All the songs sound vaguely like that half retarted chinese guy off of the American idol show.

I have the movie translated and the thing that really bothers me about the movie is they have merged alot of the characters together.

You can download it off iso hunt, and use vlc media player to attach* the subtitles, old news but good to let them know.

 

Pretty good movie. I heard they're filming the second one for it.

Initial-D movies are the best in the world. They got all sorts of stuff in them. I own all of them up to the recent one. Can't go wrong without having them. If you don't own Initial-D GO GET THEM NOW!!!!!

 

got the first 11 of the anime dvd's...3 are out now but ain't got no money. I didn't know that the movie was out already thanks for the info i will look for it.
