The track owner left for Kansas City on Friday morning. The track was left in the hands of his next in line. She and a security officer evidently relayed comments to one another and got with the cops and shut the event down themselves. The promotors had no part in the cancelling of the event. From what is known they might have ran their normal Saturday night roundy round event and that would be why they cancelled it and threw everyone and the promotors out at 3pm. As their racing normally starts around 7pm. I was working at the event and the turnout obviously was not grand. But most drivers did get a lot of seat time. Matt and Rob did an excellent job running the drifting, as well as their exhibitions. And like I said, I myself want to thank everyone for cooperating even through all the b/s of the cancellation.
