i spoke with one of the track poeples at OGP... all 3 that i asked said they will not open that middle gate...

 

holy scrit bill, what are you running up front? cuz i was rolling on 195s in the rear as well... i had my trusty 205s up front. my entry into the first turn was hitting about 62-65mph.

what screwed me late in the day was havingto run a 205 and a 195 in the back... since i torched one of the 195s... that really screwed me.

 

Run Group Blue (The first group) was the intermediate/advanced group. All the other groups were classified as novice. While we welcome your spectating, the DGTrials events are 'Practices', not competition. The action is NOT geared towards 'crowd pleasing', but rather 'driver seat time'. I saw alot of people commenting on the Sc300 that was out there. Personally, he had more balls than anybody in the crowd...he was ON THE TRACK, not behind a fence. His first time on teh track, and people were dissapointed becuase he didn't do 100+ into the corners. You have to start somewhere. Yes, I wish the novice group moved a little faster, but until they get comfortable and begin to improve, I will respect the time that they require.

As far as the middle gate.... Controlling the middle gate takes a person being there. People cost $$$. The event is expensive enough. REMEMBER, this is a drivers event that DGTrials allows you to spectate. During the private event, NO SPECTATORS were allowed.

Goto FormulaD....that is a spectator-centered event.

YOU impressed me as well!!! I am so happy I let you drive my car. I had the most fun ever driving and riding with you. You definitely were an inspiration. I think the girls represented well Saturday.

I am also thankful that Matt let me ride passenger in the Enjuku car even though it threw off the weight a bit. That was such an amazing experience!!

sooooo, i understood that it was "practice" but when the first group of drivers' seat time was done in 15-20 minutes then not back out on the track until 4 hours later.... that sucks for that first group! instead of having spectators pay 5 dollars inside that building y not have that person at the gate under a tent? then spectators wont walk through and take red bulls and sandwhiches. it would also help to have a sign under that tent somewhere that says "DRIVERS ONLY".
