So...If you want to keep the Florida DG events around, then register.

If not, then...maybe we'll try again in 2006?

can we still do the private trackdays?

MAYBE, But that's not the point.

Private days are fun and all, but I would much rather do full DDAY's.

This is fucking bullshit. What happened to everyone?? Is street drifting cheaper? I hope you don't wreck your cars. *sigh* Sorry.

I really need these events as do many others. Please preregister!

haha, i got pulled over for sliding this morning in the rain.
Undercover dude on his way to work.
cop--"what are you trying to prove"
me--"uhhh nothing sir".
cop--"i dont care if you kill yourself, but i do care that you endanger others"
(me in my head)--"thats why i only slide when nobody is around me dumbfuck"
cop--"do you like your license?"
me--"not the picture"
cop--"i mean having the right to drive around in your little car, cuz what you did is considered wreckless endangerment"
me--"oh"
cop--"have you ever benn pulled over before"
me--"for speeding"
cop--"thats not surprising" "how long have you been driving"
me--"since i was 15/16"
cop--"well your on your way to losing it"
me--"ok"
whatever he let me go, and i have nothing on my record at this time..BIOTCH
fucker made me late to my test...oh well

i'll most likely be there
only one week left...gotta decide

can we see the driver list? I will register if its gonna make the difference of having another one or not. Im just not sure my car will be ready by then or I would def sign up, but like i said, if its gonna make the diff then ill reg and work like hell to finish it.

I think that THIS^^ Is the attitude that is going to make these events permanently dissapear.

No one signs up...and if the count is low, instead of signing up so other people will want to do the same, you say 'there isnt anyone on this list, so fuck it, if I sign up nothing will change'

Why not just register? If the event gets cancelled, you get your money back anways!

And the 'one week left to decide' attitude also doesnt help much. There will be no grace period, once the 31st is here, if I don't have enough drivers to feel comfortable running the event I will immediately cancel this and all remaining events scheduled for Florida for the rest of the year.

If this post seems like I'm being a dick or an asshole, I appologize, for that is not what the intention is. I want to keep doing these events for people that care about drift and want to do it in a nice, safe location...but if it seems like Florida doesnt care anymore, then I'll stop and move on.

Thanks...

Kyle.

Well I'm a little hesitant about dropping $90 on an event I may not be able to participate in. I have 5 weeks to order pistons, machine my block and head, and assemble and tune. So time is NOT on my side. I know what attitude you are talking about, and it isnt the one I have though. I'm just stating I will throw down on this event if it will keep these things running so that WHEN I do get my car ready there will be an event to take her to.
