How much intrest could you possibly be charged on a $2k loan?? $100 a month for 24 months doesn't sounds bad at all, and that's 20%!! So what, they really screw you with 30%? Watch out, that's like $110 a month. That's a pretty small price to pay to build up a good credit rating. The problem you're going to have is that most banks have a minimum loan ammount, usually in the $5k range.
