i have the internet thing in the back of my ps2...it has a lan connection...does that count?

 

I also have the interenet pack, but I thought the LAN was like this little box that you had to plug the PS2s in to. I also have an iLink, but I don't think GT4 is iLink compatable.

 

i thought it had something to do with the usp drive....hmmmm?

 

what if we all plug our internet packs into a router? does that work? i dont know. hopefully someone knows how to work this out...lol i think not haveing online is kinda gay tho

 

Me and Vang are pretty good at drifting on GT4, we tandem close. Hint is to keep on the gas with the right setup on a car. My setup is 3.9 camber in front .5 in rear, both of the stabilizers to 1, drop the car as low as possible, and 9 kg spring rate up front and 7 kg spring rate in rear. Some cars are better with different tires, but I've liked the road tires so far. Throttle control is a big issue also with whipback/spinouts.

yea rob, i feel the same way, and i do not agree that the cars drift like real life... you simply CANNOT smoke the tires and hold a drift in this game... its either barely spinnign them or burning them in place.... lol but i do have all 3 of the d1GP cars setup and they all drift nice, consistent, and with the Race Medium tires. and REALISTIC camber and stabilizer settings lol.

BIGGEST TIP i have is to change your gear ratios and turbo and tires until you find a decent setup for you style that lets you hold the gas or pretty much hold it, and hold a drift. then setup your suspension to make the drift smoother/longer. because throttle control is hard witha 2mm play in a ps2 button, i use the ebrake to adjust angle midrift and you cant tell really, the replays look like its all the throttle.

BTW if you do the 'all gold license tests' kinda thing....
first you get a car for all silvers in a certain 'license' and another for all gold
class B gold reward kinda sucks.... im almost done with class A so ill update with that....
