for the last time there is no tandem
For the last time the tampa vs. orlando event IS NOT going to have tandem. I changed it a while back. you know I was talking to ter-tech and he made a good point if the sport it to grow and evolve people will eventually have to become comfortable with tandem. Please don't post a reply to this post.

I'm going to post a reply here since it looks like it is the only thread that hasn't been locked.
I wanna know what the hell is wrong with you guy's. No, seriously. How can one complain about 3 events per month. Sure you may not be able to afford to go to three events every month but that is NOT the point. The point is to have the OPTION to attend an event that fits one's schedule. HELL, THEY HAVE 25 MOTOCROSS EVENTS WITHIN A 40 MILE RADIUS EVERY MONTH, DO YOU HEAR ANYONE WHO RIDES MOTOCROSS BITCHING ABOUT THERE BEING TOO MANY EVENTS, NO! You pick and choose the ones to attend, jeez people. As soon as my car is running again I'll probably be attending a Lakeland event every month just to keep to par with my skills and hang out and have a GOOD TIME.
You guy's sound like if you can't attend EVERY event you will never be the next sponsored driver, guess what? Attend every event and you still probably won't be the next sponsored driver! IT'S FUN, A HOBBY, A SPORT, MORALE BOOSTER (when you get the croud going), AND FUN!
I don't know what else to say other than quit being cheese dicks. If another track opens it's doors to some drift sessions don't flame, sit back and say "Fuckin-A" or "RAD" and do or don't take advantage of it. That's all, just had to get this out after reading all the locked threads since I havn't been to this forum in a while.

by flooding a new scene with events you choke it. it is nice now to be able to choose your events. but after 1 or 2 companies go under after not being able to compete with prices and less-than-acceptable attendance, we will see how you feel then. it will be like starting all over again.
at the same time, this is a perfectly acceptable model of capitalism. i wont say it doesnt bother me though.
