Default when touge goes bad.

so we were on a unspecified road, roughly 3am.... racing back thru the roads we already conquered. so i was trailing taka..he was entering the turns pretty fast and i was keeping my own with him, sliding thru the higher angle turns, shift lock intiated. so then a straight away comes up after a nice highspeed s-turn...not a huge straight away..just enough to get to maybe 50 mph... taka gained on me on the straight, so i figured id attack this turn. i should have noticed the dust his car shot up...lol... so i was about to enter a posted 10mph turn at top of 2nd gear, roughly 45-50mph, and it kicked out... still on the straight away that is...my speed wasn't too fast for this corner, but it was too fast for the dust on the left side of the road.. it was a right hander, nice and banked... so when i hit that dust, it gave me more then controlable angle, and while still sliding i slammed into a lightpole on the outside of the turn, closer to the exit of the turn. there was nothing i could do.. i saw it coming. oh well. its just body damage. im so fucking lucky... 4 inches back or foward and my car would have to have been towed home, and probably totaled....it tought me something valuable... i have not been in a serious driver error/bad conditions accident before.. so now im aware that i might actually have limits(i know right??!?haha)..heres some pics...luckly it will all pull out.... ya jdm tyte y0

I think I know what road you're talking about. I watched a trans am go sliding by me and hit a wooden pole and go into the woods on one of my runs out there. Glad you came out on your feet, and that just adds character to the car.

Damn, that was so close to doing major damage, glass, axle, wheel, brake.. everyting.

Now with that new aerodynamic airfoil, you may be making left turns at high speed

Sucks though, good thing it was only body damage.

Did it hurt your exhaust?

there is not very much hope for fixing that, with the sheetmetal being creased like that. unless you weld in an entire rear quarter panel.
