I want to do the brightness on my diff. That would be sweet to paint wheels with.

How does a welded diff work compared to a lsd or open diff?

Well, after driving with it for a day now...it is definitely not for everyday stop and go, park in the parking lot, pulling into the gas station use.

...chirp chirp chirp..
you get everyones attention if you go into a parking lot or gas station or anywhere there are people..
driving around my apartment complex people think i'm a hulligan because of the tire chirping, thinking i'm driving fast and spinning the tires.

Forget about making tight u turns. not being used to it, I was pulling out of a walmart tonight onto a road behind ( kind of a semi u turn) and ended up in the other lane, had to make a 3 point turn.

If you're not spinning the tires, it majorly wants to push you straight.

After dday 5, i'm going to swap back to my open diff.

But it is so fun, because it is so much easier to get the back end out.

I can't wait to try it out at Dday.

So unless you're sliding around, a welded diff is going to majorly reduce your handeling performance.

i try to tell peoples but its best to find out for yourself, thats how i did
exact same thing
1) ALWAYS spin those bitches when making tight turns its way easier and more fun
2) remove after week or two of chirping and shuddering
3) go buy real diff.

ps-green is good

ya, i knew what to expect

I'm doing this for dday5. I plan to take it off probably day after. (maybe.. still probably want to have some fun with it)

Then i'll save up some money for a real diff. I just don't know what diff to shoot for.
