BBQ2 at DDAY5. Should there be?
Should the Drift-Unit crew and Garage Vegas host another 'Donate a Few Dollars and Eat All You Can' BBQ2?
Any suggestions on Food and Drinks?
I will emphasize the consumption of water to help your day go by with out fatigue, head aches, and muscle cramps.
I will bring a table for food this time instead of using the picAnic table. I will also be trying to get my hands on a stand up cooler. All of this for Better flow of drivers and spectators. Who wants to stand in line when they could be grubbing down on their food watching people go ape-shit on the track?
If the outlook for a DDAY5 BBQ2 looks good within the next week I will set up a PayPal account for predonations. This will help get the cooking started earlier because I plan on going through a butcher for meat this time instead of wasting money and 3 trips to run win dixie dry for everything we needed. The DDAY4 BBQ1 worked out perfectly, to the 'T'. I collected $165 in donations before the drivers meeting and recieved $70 in donations through out the day. All $235 was used on food, drinks, and supplies. We were ran completely dry of food, drinks, and money within 4 1/2 hours, but thankfully the event was drawing to a close. We plan on starting earlier and going later esp if OGP gets their track lights hooked up. So any donations esp predonations will help out tremendously even if you dont plan on eating. Also please donate throughout the day incase we need to run to the store for more drinks and what not. We had to make 2 more trips and if it werent for the extra donations 'BBQ1' would have ended around 2pm.
can a mod change BBQ5 to BBQ2 in the poll question for me? thanks

WTF. Somebody hates me. This is the 3rd time trying to post this with out a website crashing (tr) or aol crashing. The first time I jokingly said I am god to RiceRocket when TR crashed, but I guess somebody heard me and is now deciding to play games. I copied the last post thinking Im going to out smart the system, but theres nothing to paste now. he got me good. game over, I loose, you win! OK. another cheap shot. Crash number 3. Holy Crap!!!

Also. We will need a second grill this time. So if anyone would like to donate their grill (pref. gas) for BBQ2 it would greatly be appreciated. Unless I can get something going with Home Depot. A huge stainless grill that will need to get towed to ocala. ...Sigh... I dream too much.

Yeah, Mike thank you. I was reluctant to eat the chicken due to some one palming it and smoking at the same time. But the burgers were good. Thank you.. !! Im down for a donation if I go this time again.....

yes. and i will make sure it doesnt happen. everything was kept as clean as possible and always had the food covered with frozen food constantly on ice.
