problem 1 kinda lost me. could you explain that a little different?

Autopower isn't SCCA legal for nothing.

SCCA aren't idiots.

True. I agree with you there.. then again SCCA cars like REAL TIME/ITA etc.. do not use autopower cages. They are fully built custom cages. SCCA (auto cross) isnt even close...

On an autopower cage.. the diagonal cross member and the one that goes behind the seat are not ONE. They are seperate.

Its best if they are ONE or interset with one another. The cage will collapse if the car rolls hard or has a large impact.

Not a super good design...
