So you still gonna buy one and we'll do twin Previa drifting ?
Hell yeah.....ass-out drifting can't beat DDR on a van drifting.
There's still a few logistical problems that will need to be solved for that though.

Heh, yea It's mid-engined and RWD, engine is an inline4 laying flat with the head under the passenger seat, trannt under the floor in the middle and a short driveshaft back to the solid rear axle, with 4-link and a panhard rod.

Back when it came out it was marketed as the sportscar of minivans. It has 50/50 weight distribution and a very low center of gravity considering how tall it is, plus it looked like 10 years ahead of anything back then except maaaybe the Pontiac Silhouette which has aged terribly while the Previa IMO still looks like the super future van, lol.

I even like the silly starship enterprise-esque interior, haha. Yea, I'm a dork.

BTW, those kits in the pics have a good 5 inches worth of skirts making the van LOOk lower, but I plan to drop mine so it's actually damn near laying frame . Will involve new wheel arches moved higher up the sides. Check out the comparisons.

Oh, PLUS wide ass flares!!

But nice pics regardless.

I'm leaning toward a 1UZ-FE from a 1990 LS400. Stock compression is 9.8:1 and the stock headgaskets hold 20psi. There's a few manual trans bellhousing kits for them to mount anything from a R154, W58, Toploader, T10, or Muncie and more.

I like the idea of a Ford toploader with sequential linkage kit though. Sure it's only a 4 spd, but it's beef, and prolly the only trans that will fit between the engine and the rear subframe I plan to swap in.

Anyway, I gotta finish one project at a time.
