u gotta analyze the drivers attitudes. i can tell the SFL guiys from the tampa guys we noticed some Tampa guys are pretty damn arrogant.

As much as nobody likes them, I'd like to put arrogance and ego's aside for a while...
I also don't think that it's possible to say "everyone" did this or that, but there were some common things that people were doing.
I also agree that if you are going to pay that much for limited runs (something we are working on), that you don't want to "waste" any. I'm not at all saying that you should go slow and grip the course, but if you start out with lowER speeds and shallowER angles, you can get the feel of the track and not get yourself in too hot or wide.
Although Jay did come out ripping, his driving skill and knowledge of his car allowed him to do that and stay clean. The first lap wasn't anywhere close to his most aggresive and whether or not it was intentional, it looked that each progressive run got faster and had bigger angles and better line.
Being humble and trying to learn what you can from who you can is the key to advancing.
