Best things was:
It was really cool to see the 5.0 get sideways, that can not be an easy car to get sideways +1
Regina and james has really come alot with their skill...
Watching a few people link up the back turns...
some dood in a dress... that was just killer...

Today really changed my outlook on drifting. I'm a mod on a 240 board, and it really seems everyone, their brother, and their dog are "drifters." These are the same "drifters" that post 2 weeks later about totalling their car into another car, or into a curb at a parking lot, or some other stupid place. But to see people actually organized at a legal place with safety first was great. Most (95%) of you guys out there started rough and got much better towards the end of the day.
The few cars.. zfever white z32, some red car, and some black z32 speeding down the specatator strip, or "drifting" the hairpin in the back was really unprofessional and retarded.
No I wont drift my car, but watching on the sidelines was awesome! Matt, Bill, Taylor, Blake, and a ton of others were killin it out there. When DD3 happens, I'll be right back out there!

F-off jeff.. that white car had z-TUNER down the side a$$hole.. get your facts straight. It was the one burning down the side strip.. my car doesn't even have stickers on it to begin with. Go die

I, for one, would LOVE to see more domestic and European cars. I'm sure once people realize that a high-performance F- or fox-body can be had for mad cheap cash they will quickly pick up.

me and charles did a little bit of counting ... the miata did between 40-50 laps on that track between friday and saturday. 90 deg F day.. 1.1 bar, 20 deg timing.. tell me that is not a testament to sr endurance. one hell of a test for the rear sump we developed for this motor.

I wanna thank everyone for coming out and making this event a success. It was a really good showing on both the participant and onlooker fronts.
All your comments and complaints (although very few of these!) are duly noted and will be taken into consideration for DDay3 -- wherever it may be.
I want to thank everyone that helped out, especially guys like TonyVuViet and Scott and Rob -- people who didn't turn a lap on the track all weekend but just trudged around in the heat and sun and bugs to make the event go smoother for guys like you. You all should be really thankful to have dedicated volunteers like them.
I also want to thank the spectators for being in control all weekend. Yes there were a couple of yahoos, but the vast majority of you were really well behaved and clean, and that's something that goes a long way to getting us back to that venue again.
Overall, the event was excellent. Definitely one of the best ones that DGTrials has run so far. Let's all get ready for the next one!
