Yea, 2-way is the way to go........ If your going out, go aaaaalllll out!

But I think he's try to go for a Daily drive! 2-way aren't the best for day to day street drive!

ok, well if he is a beginrer than i would get a 1 way or open!! hell i don't have some AMAZING diff to help me drift. i was open forever and now all i have is a stock s14 vlsd and i do just fine. yeah diffs are great and all but not totally neccesary. the thing thats makes a good drifter is your skill's, not all the shit you have pilled in your car. seriously, if your just starting out i would go find a vlsd and learn with that.

Well said.

If you REALLY want to be cool you'll be an open diff drifter like me! But yeah, learning on a open will teach you to use your weight shifts instead of your power. The guy who can drift a stock corolla or 240 with a open diff will be much better off when he gets a car thats all setup.

I was considering the kaaz 1.5 way, but now that I noticed this thread, I think I will learn on the stock diff until my skills develop, then I will get a kaaz or vlsd.
