Default How many of you would support a Drift Track

I always hear you guys say, I wish there was some place to drift legally.

I have resources to put together a Drift Track/Park like the local drags. Plenty of parking and a cool layout for a drift track. Not to mention concessions, a pit area and some grand stands. This would go over HUGE I believe.
Give me your support and I can get some investors talking and we may make this a reality somewhere in the Bay Area.

You can go ahead and PM me or reply to this post.

I need some possible track layouts. So you veterans of DRIFT, please step up. Post a layout of what you would like to see. gif, jpeg, pdf, tiff, eps give me any format.

people do have a place to drift legally!....just not everyday lol. i believe many people have tried this and failed misserably. i think it would be cool, but lots of red tape to get through.

if all goes smoothly with the upcoming may 22nd drift event at primus, we'll be holding events tehre every few months.

I need more than every few months or I'll have to practice illegally and I don't like that idea.

I'm all for this and I support it fully. Any help you need I will try to give. It is a great yet difficult notion indeed, but with enough money, good ideas, and proper marketing it can definitely be accomplished.

That would be sweet! While kyle is right we do have the occasional drift event thanks to SS and dg trials, Once every other month doesn't satisfy my hunger to destroy tires... Giveing the local drifters a place to practice enough that they no longer feel the need to drift illegally would be good for everyone. Moving it off the street would definatly help the publics perception of drifting.

As for course layout how big of an area are we talking here?

I think it would be great but drifting alone probably won't support the place. Club racing and other events would help pay the bills. I know I'd be there at least once a week.

If you really want it to take off don't charge alot. Maybe $30.00 a day.
