FR Integra Drifting...
integras look good on road courses when theyve got a little oversteer, but man it was straight up BIZARRO watching one get sideways with full countersteer...
It was very well balanced and ran the Figure 8's really clean with plenty of action...Came close to clipping his driver door against a telephone pole...Too bad that the crvVTEC was set up for turbo as it was built with a 9:1 Compression bottom and I believe he was using a CRV tranny which probably is setup tall to save on gas...If he had a b16 tranny, I think it will be very easy to break off drifts on the straightaways...Remember the car is setup as FWD from the factory and I think all he really did was do the RWD conversion without really addressing the chassis setup as yet...I may be wrong though, since the teg looked as if it was meant to drift...I think when he adds the turbo, the teg is gonna be too tailhappy and will never drift as it would N/A...Who cares really...The car is badass and the people who put it together are a class act with lots of engineering talent and fabrication skills...Full buildup was covered in Honda Tuning Mag for like 6issues...So, it can be repeated by someone with the time and finances to throw at such a project...It only needs a shorter geared tranny, some sick paint and a some Drift Graphics...Then we'll see it in Option for sure...

I've seen pictures of 2 SR-powered Integras in Japan, and both are polished-up hack jobs...
Like others were saying, it's a B18 into CR-V trans and differential with front shafts disabled. The motor was virtually brand new and chassis formerly setup for hillclimbing. The E-brake went to the driver's side only with a locked differential. Blake Fuller (www.brailleauto.com) is a pretty skilled driver and his crew is pretty ingenuitive as well.
Another thing to note about this car is that it weights a little over 2000 lbs, so even with a mild B18 the power to weight ratio is pretty high. When pics appear (pretty soon I might add) it will be pretty clear just how serious the weight savings effort is...

i wasn't bashing anyone , but i don't give a crap about ' word on the street'
because ' word on the street' doesn't have any of their own FR integras, now do they?

no, fine lemmie clarify then......
Taylor told me, that he looked under it, and said it was "ugly" and "not well done"
While still badass apparently it had some things that could have been done better to make the car more solid and cleaner on the bottom.
SO its a badass car with a ghetto flavor, so what....
maybe next time after i make a play on words, i shoulda put a
on after it to emphasize the poking of funz
