If you have seen my video, I am looking for suggestions for the DVD.

The editing is simple enough....but I'm undecided about music or no music, etc. If I do use music, it won't be as loud (more of a background sound), or would you just rather here nothing but tires?

Also, if anybody has some footage that they would like to have considered for the video (I'd give you credit in the closing...but no $$$), let me know. I currently use Digi 8mm, so if it's any other format, I may need to borrow your camera to DL it to my computer.

I have a very small amount of 8mm footage due to the problems with Buck19's 240 setting us back and making us late. But i can have it ripped at a good size res and send it too you. Give me the specs you want it and i can do it that way. Just send it in pm.

 

you should have backround music, but not angry guys with guitars or rap stuff. the music should flow with the drifting like in the latest no ants vid. not saying thats the kind of music to use, just something good and original thats not all loud or played out. good music makes the video even better. your vid was great but i could have done without the disturbed. then again everyone is entitled to their opinion.

 

Also taking suggestions on music....what would you want to hear? Give me a playlist.

I voted for music. As long as the mix lets you hear the cars. The mix you released was pretty good, could go for a hair more car bias, which I think you said you had in the first edit your computer ate.

I don't care too much what the type of music is, but my 2c, wouldn't use any rap/hip-hop... don't think it goes with drift that well or enjoyed by MOST drifters/fans as much.

I have some footage, including some in-car+tandem stuff. Let me know when you need it by. I'm new in this area and first need to find somebody with a camera to clone the tape or maybe get my boss to buy a firewire card (crap... this is a slimline desktop with no open expansion slots).

i voted music. and i also agree with bill, and matts suggestions.

and on the price. you seem to spend too much time in the super market with the $X.95 pricing. are you gunna add tax too?

just make it $10 or $15 geeze.

 

Definately music. I liked this vid with its songs but i agree they are too overplayed. If you want something original go for anything by Bloodhound Gang like "Along comes mary","Asleep at the wheel", "I hope you die","Mope","Three point one four."
Any of those are hilarious.
