Default heal/toe braking

is heal/toe braking needed in drifting? i know in roadracing its used so you don't upset the ballence of the car when your down shifting for a turn but isn't that what you want to do in a drift?

Its not needed , but its a good technique to have and you will get better at drifting when you have it perfected because it probally means your driving skill is progressing

I wear size 14 shoes, The heel toe is awfully hard for me to do. When I slide I barley even attempt it. But it's useful for driving around aholes.

with large feet. rather than using your heel or toe.. i use the left side of my foot to brake, and then roll the foot rightwards to move the gas.. my heel stays on the ground/carpet.... works perfect in all the cars i've been beating the shit out of this week.... S2K.. MR2T... GS-R... 240sx... boxter....

i also wear size 14 wide..
