PRI 2019: Optic Armor’s New 1984-2004 S-10 And Sonoma Windshield

Optic Armor is a customer-driven company and its 1984-2004 S-10 and Sonoma windshield is a new product that has been brought to life based on what its customers want. This new windshield is packed full of the standard Optic Armor features customers love and a whole lot more.

When Optic Armor began the process of designing this windshield it’s number one concern was having a product that would be a drop-in unit and would fit like an OEM product. The windshield matches the curvature of the stock windshield and is cut to the factory dimensions so there’s no trimming required for installation.

Jim Dunham from Optic Armor provides some additional details about this windshield.

“We include the adhesive to glue in the windshield along with a border to help make the process easier. It comes in different thicknesses plus it has different tint options available based on what look you want and the speeds you’ll be going. This windshield is installed like it’s the factory window so you don’t need to make any vehicle modifications. The advantages it provides a racer are it weighs less than a stock windshield, its scratch-resistant, and its shatter-resistant so it provides an additional layer of safety for the driver.”
