How to launch?

I need some help on launching my car. Ive tried several aproaches and nothing seems to work except burning the hell outa my clutch. I can't seem to just do a little tire spin and go. It's always spin until red line and die off the line. Even if I feather the gas my tires smoke and die.

Help?

In the maxima i go from a 2.5k to 3k drop with little tire spin and the car doesnt die down. And in the hatch i go from a 6k launch with some tire spin letting the clutch out slow then all the way out. with both cars i cut 2.0's to 2.1 60's on street tires.

Hold the gas at 5500rpms start to slip the clutch and as soon as it starts to grab release it and floor the gas pedal at the same time. Thats what i do anyways.

Depends on your set-up. Turbo cars will launch different than any other combo.. Can of hard to explain but much easier to show. If you come to the Track Day come and get me and I will take you for a run down the track and show you how I do it. Maybe it will help or not.

I moderate the traction with the clutch pedal and the gas. Like I said hard to explain but I actually had to make myself pay attention to how I did to figure it out.
