I have a question. When I was at 5psi on the Civ, I ran the 1/8th mile (Blowing a LIC pipe in the process) 10.2@70mph. Is this a good mph? Should I have done better? Im not much of a track phreak, Ive only been a few times, my car never stays running long enough for me to go.

Ive never understood why I do so horrible on the track, and so well on the highway.
@7psi I was walking modded GT mustangs and GST's, along with a stock S2000, and a few other misc. vehicles.
So why so horrible on the track? Just inexpierence?

I don't have an s2000. I said I walked them.
The people on the road beside me slowly losing ground @ 120+mph were, I believe. Racing.
Even your petty slightly modded GT Mustangs.
I also said I have a Civic.
I am also, not stock.
Thanks for the flame.

You're welcome...but it wasn't a flame and the statement still stands. People you race on the street, for the most part, will have no idea what they are doing. At the track, your competition will probably be a little stiffer. All else being equal, your modded Civic will not stand a chance against a modded Mustang.
Also, does your Civic trap at 120 at the track? My Mustang traps at about 123 at the track and tops out at about 126 on the street. So, you would probably eventually beat me in a sustained street race once you finally caught up, but I guarantee you that I would roast you in the quarter mile. There's a difference between quick and fast. Quick rules at the strip and between stoplights. Fast rules across the bridges.

Sigh
My mistake, I thought you also asked why you did well on the street but horribly at the track.
OK, your mph sucks also. I only have my mph to go by and you are 28 mph and 3 seconds slower than I am at the 1/8. Feel better now?
