I have and had stock headers stock h-pipe and the stock cat back when ran I ran 13.3.everything you see in my sig is what it took 2 get a 13.3 but there is a 13.2 or 13.1 with my mods.i just didnt get a good 60/ft when i ran 13.3. oh and why are you going ford?

im not speaking for blacklt1 or anything but he probably just wants something different. I like fords just as much as chevrolets. they each have such a unique feeling to them. mustangs are generally lighter than camaros but usally have less power. camaros have a certain feel to there steering than is unlike anything else. I prefer the way the mustangs sound even the 281's over the chevy lt1 or ls1's. or maybe hes going for the bad ass 2003 390hp supercharged stang

Haha I wish I had the money for the new Cobra cause I would have a sonic blue one

Im just wanting something different, and I do think the 281 is sweet sounding car also. Things are also cheaper for the most part with the Fords also thats a plus. On your 13.3 run where you powershifting that I might be afraid to do with that tranny, hearing that its not a very strong one.

well about the tranny issues if you know how 2 drive and dont power shift on the spray then it will last forver.i have done 13.3 power shifting and not power shifting.on the 13.3 that i didnt power shift i didnt have as good of MPH but i had a beter 60/ft time.i wish i would have power shifted on that run.but i know of alot of people that have the same mods if not more than me and run slower times du 2 driver .sh*t im the only one launching a GT at 4700RPM's on nittos.

I havent heard a stock Ls1 even with headers and cat back that sounded that great to me. (I have heard a few with heads and a cam that sounded bad ass) just my opinion though. I havent heard a 281 that I didnt absolutley love the sound of. I wonder what it is exactly that makes em sound so bad ass maybe its the fact that they come with true dual exhaust.... well atleast the ones I have checked out had true duals....

True duals are why they sound sweet. The Corvette has true duals and they sound sweet also with aftermarket exhaust.
There is a exhaust place that does custom work on Fbodys and you can get true duals, heard they sound sweet I think Al has them on the SS.

all eingine for me...im told with my new shorty i might get a high 13.."not bad for a 6 banger" thats what the guy in the 5.0 fox body told me last night after i almost punted him twice
