i went to desoto last friday and just wanted to know does the time display signify the end of the quarter mile? if not where exactly is the end of the quarter mile?

the times that were shown were the reaction times
I belive .... they didnt show 1/4 mile times.

The timers stop or the quarter mile ends where you see the last orange boxes in the center of the track. Which is basically where the time towers are. You will also see a light bulb just past the quarter mile stripe that is just above the wall on both sides of the track. This bulb will light up for whoever won the race. Hope that helps

Yeah at the very end there is what is commonly called the traps. It ends at the END of that. Always power through the trap. About 10 foot long section at the very end (where the MPH is calculated). Its hard to see at night as the paint is about gone from the ground.

nope friday nights are a street race styled event hence no times. but if you are looking for et slips then why not try thursday night test-n-tunes and they also have one on saturday mornings as well.
