Go to Bradenton Motorsports Park much?
Go to Bradenton Motorsports Park much?
Anyone notice that the right lane is ~5 mph slow? Just wondering.
??? please explain, I've run within .1 mph on back to back runs in the old dragster, but it only run low 11's
I have also run 142 mph at Moroso and then 141 mph at Bradenton the following week, but that was a year ago.
More recently I have had a friends car at the track while I tuned it. It ran several 12.3s at 107 in the right lane. We questioned it since our ECU logs showed 114 mph through the traps.
Finally ran the left lane. Unfortunately the car knocked a bit but still ran 12.5 @ 110 mph. Our ECU log showed 111 mph.
It definitely seems to me that the right lane trap is about 5 mph slow.
Anyone else seen this happening?

Bradenton Consistency
I can typically run within .005 ET between lanes at Bradenton and within .20 mph. There's a ton of things that can affect the track on any given day but once the track is prepped and a bunch of cars are running on it, it's consistent.
Paul, is that within the past month or so? Before then I have never questioned the track for the past 10 years.
Not only did I see a discrepancy, I know from experience that a turbocharged 4 cylinder should mph better than 106-107 on a 12.30 pass. Especially when the factory speed sensor is telling me it is seeing 114 mph.
Thanks for the input so far.
