hey guys where is the nearest drag strip to macdill air force base? and if possible give me the times they open? i would like to take my truck out there and give some test runs solo. please let me know if anyone can. thanks

 

Theres Sunshine Speedway which would be closest, but it's an 1/8 mile. Bradenton Motorsports park is a 1/4, normally have test n tune on Thursday from 6-11. Today is Street Warriorz, opens at 4.

thanks alot rexsichic. now the first one you mentioned would be where? saint pete? i hve passed by one here in saint pete i think its off of ulmerton or bay to bay. anyway its does not look like the real deal drag strip but more like for anything goes type. do you know anything about it?

 

I believe it's off Ulmerton, Ive only been there once. They have a lot of the same stuff that Bradenton has, but I prefer the 1/4.

Yes, it's off of Ulmerton. Entry is on 126th. From Ulmerton, turn onto Automobile Dr/St/whatever and make a left at the stop sign. 126th dead ends at the track entrance.
