So lets hear it and please vote in the poll too.
Personally I thought the racing was great and the event went super smooth thanks to the BMP staff and ownership but I liked it better when it was a 1/4 mile event. There was more cars when it was 1/4 and more variety.
Your thoughts ?

it was better as a 1/4 mile race. Its a freakin 1/4mile track let run em out the back door. Plus the car count was better last year too, hardly any out of towners this year.
Whatever happened to just going out to race and have fun? Way to many cry babies in this sport anymore.

People liking the other format ( 1/4 mile) and talking about it is again not crying. I personally said myself (here and other boards) the racing was good and the event smooth. I am just looking to see what the consensus is since I have heard a lot of people talking about it.
lol ok

I believe the event went well but the need an open comp class or a bracket class as a filler on Sunday so the Fans don't suffer. It was a good call for Bradenton to go 1/8 mile but they need more sponsorship for the event and event coverage, and to adjust the rules for a 1/8 mile race. Racing is racing 1/8 or 1/4.
