There is an event called "Real Street Drags" that is hosted every month at Great Lakes Dragaway (the track I used to go to when I lived in Chicago). It's just like street racing but at the track... No Clocks, No Christmas Tree (unless you request), a Track official flags each race, you can spot cars out, give the hit, race for money, and it's awesome! Example of how it works: You pick a car out of the pits to race, check out what he's got done, agree on a fair race (you give him 2 cars and the hit for $100) then you get in the staging lanes and tell the track offical the race set up. He then spots out the other car, they announce the race over the loudspeakers "03 Cobra is giving the Evo 2 cars and the Hit for $100, who do you think is gonna win?!?!" Lots of people in the crowd make side bets. The official flags the race and your off! They also have a bike crew that does some stunting every other hour. There is usually a test and tune session from like noon to 5pm then the "street racing starts".

It would be great to set up an event just like this at BMP!!!!
