sitting around today shooting the breeze and somebody mentioned that it was announced that the track had been sold to developers. anybody got any insight ?

As far as I know I live right down the track and their closed due to Reconstruction. Their Becoming Full NHRA dragstrip and having Concrete walls installed. I don't think it would be sold with new addition to the track

 

Please every body stop talking about this..........BMP is not for sale and never will be..........Admin be close this thread

not entirely true!
this is what i heard.
it's not on the market, but since the land value has gone up so much, and all the bracket racing B.S. , when the developers sing the right song and show the right $, it'll be sold in a heart beat!
the good news though, since the market has kinda dropped in the past couple months, the developers are alot less likely to show the right $ for quite a while.

oh, and yep, the reason the track is closed right now, is due to the construction of the concrete walls for NHRA. allthough he usually closes for a lil while this time of year anyway. lol but yeah, in a couple weeks it'll be open and there's gonna be alot of really good events going on, so everyone be sure to go and give lots of support and show him that we dont want to loose the track!!!!

 

For those who don't know, I work at one of the major race shop in the area, Real Speed...So i take to a lot of people, always at both tracks, hang out with certain people......So i get knowledge before anybody else does. about what you said ya that's kinda true....if somebody offered your parents a million dollars for their house...you would be sleeping in the driveway if you know what i mean, its not about the track....everybody says that..the track is for sale the track is for sale........The land is !


They would lose more money then what they would be getting for the land if it was sold in the long run

 

lol ya cant always go by what alot of, or certain people say! what comes directly from the horse's mouth is all that matters!

and like i said, if everyone will really support the track and tell all of their friends to support it, that will make it a lil more harder for the developers to show the right $ !!!!!

But anyway BMP is doing over $100k in capital improvements right now putting in new walls and other things so do you think that is something one would do if it was sold or for sale ?
