I went and had nothing but trouble. I must have hurt something in the car because my mph was about 7 lower than average.

Oh and it sucked I went at like 7:15 and had only made one run by 9:00. They gave us a few runs at the end of the night but still kind of pointless to waste the first 3 hours.

Vince how did it run?

Gator the car looked sweet but the traction on the pass i say looked bad. You went left then started back to right.

I'm guessing most of them haven't made it home from the track yet because no one has posted any times yet.

Either that or they are keeping them hush hush.

my first time to sunshine with the new m/t drag radials. are you sure you didnt confuse me with teh navy blue TA on drag wheels (thats faster than me)? he was having issues keeping the car straight.

i made two passes. both 60' were 1.57 @ 21-22 psi in the radials. still experimenting on the launch rpms and where it likes to be hit. it should be quicker out of the hole.

no bottle tonight. just weakness n/a.

I can't say for sure man it was dark and I was a few cars back. The car looked like it was trying to leave hard but spinning so it might be him. I noticed that same car in the fast lane later on if that helps?

Times? Um i'm so pissed off at my gay ass times tonight that I dont wanna post them. I did add a little more fuel and lost and extra 4mph on my last right.

On a good note I killed a few harleys on the way home. Like clubbing seals I know but damnit I needed something to make me feel better.

That sounds like alot of tire pressure, I thought most people ran 10-15 psi. Even still, nice 60'. What were you launching at?

it is a lot of pressure but talking to other cars on ls1tech (only good racing ls1 site) the guys are running them 18-22 psi. this is my first time out with those tires so ofcourse i started up high and was testing my way down. i dropped 1-2 psi on the second pass and went down 0.004 seconds on the 60'

lol

i think that 10-15 psi will cup the radial tire. but i am still learning this. i am launching at only 2500 rpms and the car isnt pushing forward yet.

there were 3 firebirds (two TAs like mine and one formula) in the "fast" lane (i call it the pro lanes). in fact i ran the formula once and right behind me was that navy blue car. btw, he runs n/t and i always show my times.
