had an OK time. got there around 7:30 7:45 only to wait an hour or whatever it was after someone oiled down the track. got one n/a run in. spun. did two runs on the jug. first spun a bunch. second a spun a ton! let out half way through the run. no point in hurting anything. slicks were at 15 psi cold. i wonder if i have to go lower than that??? i hate teh sway on the big end.

very first run on the NX shot .... no bottle heater and its a wet shot GOTS to get a heater!!! hit was honestly pretty weak. probably a 70 shot lol

6.94 @ 99.4 (1.533) - driven to and from the track without changing tires i cant wait to actually hook like its supposed to! i never spin n/a

learning this new combo is killin me.

The "oiling" happened around 7, (coincidentally, by an LS1) so I am glad I didn't stick around. I must have just missed you. How big a shot are you running? I couldn't get better than a 1.941 60', so what is a good 60' for you if you spun a bunch and pulled a 1.533?

ah that makes sense about the oiling. i never put the two together. it was the two brothers that are always out there with fbodys. he put a rod through the block. ouch.

well it is technically a NX 120 shot but thats at 1050 psi. with no warmer at all and not even a full bottle (dynoed a few pulls on this bottle already) it was probably more like a 75 shot or less. you know how wet shots need bottle pressure.

as for spinning, the 60' might look good but i know it spun terribly. my car deadhooks even at sunshine most of the time. usually 1.55-1.56 at sunshine. but its clean and moves out. this one shook the tires hard and i had to really drive my way out out of the 60' (if that makes any sense). i think without a doubt at BMP i can break into the 1.49 or better since n/a i go 1.53 at that track pretty normally. again its just the feel and smoothness of the launch. when it hooks right it just lifts and shoots out. this one felt like i launched on a gravel road!

Yeah I was very pissed off for a while, I didn't get a good run until about 7:30-8. Finally got back in the 5's. I've been going through this car like crazy trying to figure out what was wrong, well it ended up being the guy I bought my gas from screwed me over and gave me cheap shit. I drained the tank, put in 118, the car has never run so good.

As far as the LS1 oiling the track, that was my buddy. He broke a rod, crank and some other parts, not a good night for him.
