I went yesterday and broke out in the first round by .001 of a second. There were a lot of good cars out though. Should be good in the finals.

You guys were right. Much faster cars than last year. Just got back from the track and what a great day to race. Nice clear sky and nice day in the 70's.

I sure as hell had a good time, was there all day/night Friday to test and then all yesterday and today. Considering the cars we were up against in the Pro Mod class, Matt and Tirso did extremely well. 38 cars with only room for 16 to qualify and Matt and Tirso qualified 7th and 9th having 1000-1800hp less then everyone else in the field which is fucking awesome. Tirso went out first round of eleminations running 6.77 vs a camaros 6.58 but Matt made it to the 2nd round taking out that Firebird and eventually shutting down early and losing to the Vette that won it all. Overall it was a blast all weekend with lots of fast cars and alot of great people.

OMG, that's the first time I've seen Top Fuel and the Pro Mods run. Holy hell those bastards are crazy/fast. 6000hp, pfft! Crazy fockers!
