The last 1320 I went to almost made me quit racing altogether. Wait an hour in line to spin down the track yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!! That's grrrate! Seriously though, here's a funny story from the last time I was there. There's an idiot in a black civic coupe behind me in line with some sort of white graphics on the side. He walks up and asks me how my car runs, I told him I went a 13.0 on my last pass, he smiles and says "yeah, that's what I run, 13's" Then his friend comes over and he's telling his friend how me and him should race because we both run 13's. Meanwhile, I'm looking back at his lowered civic with 17 inch wheels and low profile tires thinking not tonight you're not. I ask again "you run 13's on those" "yeah, all the time" The he goes out and clicks off a blistering, heart stopping, death defying 16.78!! I asked some friends if they had seen the car run thinking maybe he had a bad pass, trying to give him the benefit of the doubt, and they all said the thing was slow and one thought they remembered a 17 or something. That my friends, is only one of the reasons I won't be at 1320 tonight. Hopefully you won't wait in line too long behind the other 500 reasons
