CrazyMoparGirl and/or LeadFootedFool will be the ones to tell you all about neons... however everyone has left and made this a ghost town lately.

Is yours DOHC or SOHC? I think there's a big gain to be had by putting on a DOHC (R/T) muffler and tossing the airbox for a "Cold air" style with a cone filter.

Also if you're interested- I have an instrument cluster here with a tach that will plug right in to your car.

I think your biggest gain (if you want to do the conversion) is to put on a DOHC top end (if you're SOHC now). The turbo guys are big into putting neon heads onto their 2.2/2.5 turbos.. theyve been doing a lot of cutting and flowing of the neon heads and the SOHC ones have shown to be VERY poor flowing heads

Good luck with eating the asses!!

Or maybe switch from the stock SOHC to the magnum SOHC head, from what I have been hearing and reading, it doesn't have the same flow problems as the stock SOHC.

I'm thinking about buying SupraKid's neon, has the R/T drivetrain put in there... I would look into a turbo setup...

i was thinking about it too. But i REALLY dont need another car.. especially one that the seal has been broken. I also would use it as my daily beater and in that case a 5-spd = sux0rs
