CrazyMoparGirl and/or LeadFootedFool will be the ones to tell you all about neons... however everyone has left and made this a ghost town lately.
Is yours DOHC or SOHC? I think there's a big gain to be had by putting on a DOHC (R/T) muffler and tossing the airbox for a "Cold air" style with a cone filter.
Also if you're interested- I have an instrument cluster here with a tach that will plug right in to your car.
I think your biggest gain (if you want to do the conversion) is to put on a DOHC top end (if you're SOHC now). The turbo guys are big into putting neon heads onto their 2.2/2.5 turbos.. theyve been doing a lot of cutting and flowing of the neon heads and the SOHC ones have shown to be VERY poor flowing heads
Good luck with eating the asses!!

I can try to help you out with what ever questions you way have. I have a 95 four door sohc atx running 14.2's in the 1/4. ever need help just email or pm me. And also cheack out NEONS.ORG really great site
Or maybe switch from the stock SOHC to the magnum SOHC head, from what I have been hearing and reading, it doesn't have the same flow problems as the stock SOHC.

I'm thinking about buying SupraKid's neon, has the R/T drivetrain put in there... I would look into a turbo setup...

i was thinking about it too. But i REALLY dont need another car.. especially one that the seal has been broken. I also would use it as my daily beater and in that case a 5-spd = sux0rs

but once you break the seal on it (open it up).... oh man, it just doesnt stop.
Thats why my Horizon is still virgin... i need to depend on it
