Default 2.4 swap

I have heard you can swap the SRT-4 motor into a 98 R/T but I wasn't really sure. I was told that it had to much torque and that it would hurt the chasis. If anyone knows please let me know.

yes you can, you have to do some work to the fuel system like; need new fuel pump, block off the stock internal fuel regulator install a external adjustable and a fuel return line. the chassis will handle the torque with no problem

Does anybody know of anyone in the Tampa area that has one an SRT-4 swap into a later model neon, because if it seems easy enough I may try to have a new summer project. Another thing, would it be cheaper and more affective to buy a Hahn Racecraft turbo or the SRT-4 motor.

Wouldn't exactly call it a SRT4 swap, this engine has been around a while, its just that we couldn't get it here. In mexico they have been selling 2.4 Turbo cars for a while now.
