I saw a B&M one (i think same as DC?) on an engine, all complete and ready to go.. it was at the Rod Run one year. A trick lookin setup, but hard to tune from what i hear. Much simpler to just go turbo

A year or so ago there was a B&M one on ebay didn't sell opening bid was $1000

yep, for the same reason people dont build N/A 2.2's and 2.5's. because a turbo one is sooo much better, and sooo readily available

If I could get my hands on a SC for cheap, I sure as hell would build an engine for it. I am thinking the best approach would be to weld up some injector bosses and run the turbo computer maybe with some modified spark tables. But thats not going to happen.

The price that people want for these rare superchargers is just too high up there for my taste. On the other hand my taste is weird. If I wasn't building this car to be my only daily driver I might consider tinkering around with other ways to make more power than using a turbo engine.

ahh... idea... use a neon head, slap on a centrifugal blower on it.. lots of intake room in the front, no need for exhaust room out back!

Right now if I were to slap a 16v head onto one of these 2.2/2.5 block I would definitely have to stick with EFI and ITB's, or straightout weber sidedrafts. I just like the idea for no good reason.
