leak repair

A guy on tv repaired a freeze plug leak with jb weld. Might that work on a 2005 jeep liberty radiator leak in the plastic side part? It seems the heat and water pressure would be similar, but metal may react differently from plastic.

Not hard enough to crack the plastic but gentle enough for the screw to get a grip, then when covered with epoxy
and spread out, the screw would hold the JB weld in place.

Ive seen radiator repairs with JB weld where the flues were rotted away and the flues were sometimes folded over and
the ends was covered with JB weld.
