Ok, gotcha. So it sounds like it's on and activated, but your unable to use it? I've not used this feature, but I've heard it is similar to connecting to a wifi router. Are you able to see anything called Uconnect or something similar while searching for a wifi signal in your phone?

If there is a problem, I suspect you would need to contact Uconnect directly. This excerpt was copied from their site:

I've dealt with Uconnect customer service in the past on a couple of vehicles. To say it bluntly, they are not very helpful. They read from a script which is fine, and normal for a call center. But it usually takes multiple calls to get the problem fixed. Mostly because they've hang up on me a few times because they don't know how to forward a call.

I hope you get it sorted out before having to call them, and if you do, I really hope you don't have the same experience with them.
