Default Removing a fuel rail and firing order of a V8

Procedure for removing the fuel rails ...

The left and right fuel rails are removed/replaced as an assembly. Do not attempt to separate fuel rail halves at the connector tube. When removing fuel rail assembly for any reason, be careful not to bend or kink the connector tube.

Remove the four fuel rail retaining bolts (two on each side).
Gently rock and lift the left side fuel rail until the fuel injectors just start to clear the machined holes in the intake manifold.

Gently rock and lift the right side fuel rail until the fuel injectors just start to clear the machined holes in the intake manifold. Repeat this procedure (left/right) until all injectors have cleared the machined holes.
Remove the fuel rail (with injectors attached) from the engine.
Remove the fuel injector retaining clip(s) from the fuel rail.
Remove the injector(s) from the fuel rail assembly.
------------------------------------------------------------------

Firing order
The cylinders are numbered from front to rear; 1, 3, 5, 7 on the left bank (driver side) and 2, 4, 6, 8 on the right bank (passenger side). The firing order is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2.
